RESTAURANT INSPECTIONS: Nov. 18, 2013

TERRE HAUTE — The Vigo County Health Department inspected the following food establishments Oct. 28-Nov. 1:

Outback Steakhouse, 3700 S. U.S. 41 (3 Critical, 1 Non-Critical) Wall mounted potato cutter not cleaned from night before; cooked pasta on grill line at 62 degrees; should be 41 degrees or less (discarded); sautéed mushrooms on grill line found at 104 degrees; should be 135 degrees or less (discarded).

McDonald’s, 2633 S. Indiana 46 (2 Critical, 7 Non-Critical) Air curtain at open drive through window not turned on; pass-through trays stored with food debris.

Aramark-Rose Hulman, 5500 Wabash Ave. (2 Critical, 1 Non-Critical) Raw beef, hot dogs and chicken stored over lettuce, peppers and onions in upright coolers; sanitizer in 3-bay sink less than 200ppm.

Maui Stop & Shop, 4501 S. Seventh St. (2 Critical) Employee did not wash hands before placing on gloves to prepare food; fried chicken, ravioli and potato wedge in hot base found at 114 to 128 degrees; should be 135 degrees or above.

Cajun Café, 3401 S. U.S. 41 (1 Critical, 3 Non-Critical) Home fries, eggrolls and bourbon chicken not marked with time to discard for today and previous days.

Casey’s General Store, 1718 S. Third St. (1 Critical, 2 Non-Critical) No one in charge at time of inspection.

Rally’s No. 9083, 3492 S. U.S. 41 (1 Critical, 2 Non-Critical) No certified food handler on staff.

Magic Wok, 3401 S. U.S. 41 (1 Critical, 1 Non-Critical) No sanitizer measured in 3-bay sink.

Wagon Wheel, 1145 Lafayette Ave. (1 Critical, 1 Non-Critical) Small toaster oven rack found with debris.

Pilot Corp. No. 297, 5555 E. Margaret Ave. (1 Critical, 1 Non-Critical) Debris found on ice machine chute.

Fort Harrison Mini Mart, 1301 Fort Harrison Road (1 Critical) No water available at 3-bay sink.

Jimmy John’s, 3734 S. U.S. 41 (1 Critical) No sanitizer measured in wiping cloth bucket.

Subway No. 297 (Pilot), 5555 E. Margaret Ave. (1 Critical) No sanitizer measured in wiping cloth bucket.

Auntie Anne’s Soft Pretzels, 3401 S. U.S. 41 (1 Critical) Debris found inside ice machine.
