Do you love to bake from scratch? Using the premium quality of Gold Medal flour, contestants are asked to create any kind of cookie, any style, size or shape is welcome as long as it’s made from scratch. Top finishers receive $100, $50 and $25. Judging is based on appearance, flavor and texture. • Fleischmann’s Yeast — Best Baking Contest: Judging: 2 p.m. Aug. 6.
The Best Baking Contest helps a good cause: for each entry nationwide (between July and October) ACH Food Cos. will contribute $10 to the No Kid Hungry Campaign (up to $25,000) on behalf of contestants and its Fleischmann’s Yeast brand. Bake your best recipe using any type of Fleischmann’s Yeast. Prizes of $125, $50 and $25 await the top three winners in the first category. The makers of the most delicious dessert pies and the most scrumptious savory pie will win awards and more. The competition calls for pies of all sizes, shapes and flavors.
