West Union, Ill. —
When Gene and I got married, they farmed for Lew and Virginia Dall. I always loved tomato cocktail (V8 juice). Virginia said she had a recipe for V8 juice. She would come down from Marshall to West Union and Virginia, Gene’s mom, and I would put up the juice.
When we got done with canning tomatoes, juice, catsup, etc., we always had some more tomatoes than she and I could use.
Here comes Virginia and Lew. Lew went out with the men and we three put up her tomato cocktail. Hope you enjoy this as much as we did.
