Establishment inspections for June 18-22:

Tokyo Japan, 3401 S. U.S. 41, (5 Critical, 8 Non-Critical) – Lo mein noodles found at 127 degrees, should be 135 degrees or above; no sanitizer measured in wiping cloth bucket; observed accumulated black debris on soda fountain nozzles; observed live roaches in kitchen area; observed dead roaches throughout kitchen area.

Cajun Café, 3401 S. U.S. 41 A-12, (4 Critical, 5 Non-Critical) – Boxed raw chicken found on floor of kitchen; cooked rice in walk-in found at 75 degrees should be 41 degrees or less; dishes not being sanitized after washing; observed several roaches in kitchen, trash cans and storage area.

Baesler’s Market, 2900 Poplar St., (4 Critical, 1 Non-Critical) – Bags of cheese in aisle for display cooler at 57 degrees, should be 41 degrees or less; bags of shredded cheese observed at 58 degrees, bags of lunch meat at 54 degrees in wall display case, should be 41 degrees or less; sliced melons and cantaloupe in display case at 53 degrees, should be 41 degrees or below; sanitizer water in meat department over 200 ppm.

Quizno’s, 2501 S. Third St., (3 Critical, 1 Non-Critical) – No certified food handler on staff at time of inspection; chicken, cheese, and roast beef found at 48-51 degrees, should be 41 degrees or less; bottle labeled with window cleaner found with sanitizer solution.

MCL Cafeteria, 3 Meadows Lane, (2 Critical, 4 Non-Critical) – Fried chicken, baked chicken, cooked fish, marinara sauce not marked with date of consumption; mold observed on sliding doors on ice machine.
