Learn about wild edible plants at meeting

— Karen Staub will give a talk on “Incredible Edibles” at the Friends of Turkey Run and Shades State Parks monthly meeting at 7 p.m. Thursday.
Staub will share some of her extensive knowledge about wild edible plants and some stories about a few of her interesting experiences. She will bring a few wild edibles to sample, but assures that no one is obligated to try them.
The Friends of the Parks are a volunteer group dedicated to conserving the two parks’ natural heritage and enhancing visitors’ experiences. The pubic is welcome to join them at the Turkey Run Nature Center for this program.
