Organizations, venues offer up Halloween events, activities

Attend ‘Little Museum of Horrors’ Halloween Party

The Terre Haute Children’s Museum will be transformed into a not-so-scary building filled with ghostly fun, games and activities during the “Little Museum of Horrors” Halloween party from 6 to 9 p.m. Oct. 27.

Children and the young at heart are invited to dress up in their favorite costumes for a night filled with kid-friendly Halloween entertainment.

Guests will get to participate in fun games and spooktacular crafts. Venture through the un-haunted tree house to discover a variety of Halloween-related creatures found in nature. There will even be a mad scientist performing eerie demonstrations. There will be a variety of activities available that the whole family can enjoy.

Admission to the “Little Museum of Horrors” Halloween party is $5 for members of the Terre Haute Children’s Museum and $10 for non-members.

Admission prices are for children ages 2 and older and adults. Children under 2 are free.

The museum also offers a variety of costumes that are perfect for Halloween and continued, imaginative pretend-play all year long in its Old National Bank Science Store inside the museum.

The museum, 727 Wabash Ave., is at Eighth Street and Wabash Avenue in downtown Terre Haute.
