Special to the Tribune-Star
A couple of years ago, we had a picnic at a friend’s home. Someone brought salad. Boy, was that good. Everyone was asking who made the salad.
Then we all wanted her recipe. She was going to send it to me, but I never got it.
But I came across a recipe that tastes just like it. It is so good. I also add nuts. But you don’t need to. This comes from the same cookbook as last week from St. Mary Parish from Henry, Ill. Donna Bays put it in. Thanks, Donna.
