Due to the weather, Dr. Maya Angelou’s lecture scheduled for Tuesday, March 26, in Clowes Memorial Hall of Butler University, has been postponed. Information on her new date, currently slated for late April, will be released as soon as it becomes available.
Tickets distributed for Tuesday’s lecture will be honored for the rescheduled date. The date will be announced at ClowesHall.org and Butler.edu.
All tickets for the March 26 lecture were distributed. Ticket holders who cannot attend the lecture on the new date are encouraged to return them to their point of distribution (Clowes Box Office, Ticketmaster). Open seats will be released to those without tickets at 7:15 p.m. the evening of the event.
Angelou is speaking at Butler as part of the 25th anniversary of the University’s Celebration of Diversity Distinguished Lecture Series. She also was the first speaker in the series, back in 1988.
