Clabber Girl Brickyard BBQ Fest welcomes TelluRide Band

A Nashville recording group, featuring a Wabash Valley native, will headline the fourth annual Brickyard BBQ Fest on July 19 in the Clabber Girl Festival Marketplace on Ninth Street, between Wabash Avenue and Cherry Street.
The event is scheduled to last from noon till midnight.
TelluRide, a country band featuring Hymera native Cain Hall, will perform an 8 p.m. dinner time concert, sponsored by the Indiana Blood Center.
Others members of TelluRide Band are Adam Craig (lead guitar and lead vocals), Jimi Hendrix (bass and harmony vocals), Ryan Jones (keyboards and harmony vocals) and Brian Smith (drums). Hall adds guitar and harmony vocals to the mix.
The festival includes additional live music, food and racing-related activities.
The Brickyard BBQ Fest is the kick-off to the annual pilot campaign for the United Way of the Wabash Valley. Proceeds from the event along with a portion of the revenue raised by the participating restaurants will go to benefit the United Way of the Wabash Valley.
The festival falls one weekend before the Allstate 400 at the Brickyard NASCAR race at Indianapolis.
The attractions include a cruise-in car show; a motorcycle show; Colts In Motion by the Indianapolis Colts; a kids carnival courtesy of Wal-Mart, the Family Y, and Maryland Community Church; racing attractions like the Sinden Racing’s NASCAR and IndyCar simulators; rock climbing wall; and a corn-hole tournament.
Barbecue will be prepared by vendors that include: Bairdo’s, Ritter’s Frozen Custard, Mammaw & Pappaw’s Snack Shack, KBL, M. Mogger’s Brewery, Rick's Smokehouse & Grill, Dalton's Smokehouse, and Hickry Grove, and the Terminal hosting the beer garden.
Entertainment starts at noon featuring live music with the Backroads Band and at 4 p.m. the Midwest Playboys will take the stage.
Event sponsors in addition to Clabber Girl are Refreshment Services Pepsi, First Financial Bank, Wal-Mart, Time Warner Cable Media Sales, Terre Haute Convention and Visitors Bureau, WIN 98.5, Midwest Communications, Lamar Outdoor Advertising, Hilton Garden Inn, Dorsett Mitsubishi, Wabash Valley Harley Davidson and Duke Energy.
