Cruise for Cancer June 7 in St. Bernice

— Cruise for Cancer 2008, inspired by James Straw Jr., is scheduled June 7 at the Thousand Trails Nature Preserve off Indiana 71 in St. Bernice.
Recreational vehicles, motorcycles, golf carts, newer models are all welcome. Registration fee is $10.
Trophies and plaques will be awarded to the top 20 entrants; dash plaques and door prizes also will be awarded.
Other activities include a disc jockey, 50/50 drawing, food, horseshoes, miniature golf and more.
All proceeds and donations go to help less fortunate cancer patients through Trails of Life, a not-for-profit organization that is 100 percent volunteer.
Trails of Life gives back to cancer patients through pre-paid gas gift cards, toys, food certificates, and provides them with a prayer card or Bible.
Donations can be made to Trails of Life at any First Financial Bank.
