Phegley-McComb

John and Joan Phegley of Terre Haute announce the engagement of their son, Joshua Aaron Phegley, to Jessica Eileen McComb, daughter of Suzanne and Doug Kaiser and David and Cheryl McComb.

The bride-to-be is a graduate of Snider High School of Fort Wayne and Indiana University where she received her master’s degree in health promotions from the School of Public Health. Josh is a 2006 graduate of Terre Haute North Vigo High School, and has attended Indiana University. He plays AAA baseball for the Chicago White Sox.

The couple plan a Dec. 1, 2012, wedding.

Hunt-Shanahan

Katherine Hunt and David Shanahan announce their forthcoming marriage.  

Katie is the daughter of Don and Nancy Hunt of Sullivan. She graduated from DePauw University in 2003 with a major in computer science and the University of Louisville in 2009 with a master’s degree in instructional technology. She is pursuing a Ph.D. in educational leadership and organizational development from University of Louisville, and is an assessment coordinator at the university’s School of Education.

David is the son of Dr. Patrick and Debra Shanahan of Louisville, Ky. He graduated from DePauw University in 2002 also with a major in computer science, and from Bellarmine University in 2011 with a master of business administration.

A private family wedding will be Nov. 10, 2012, in Christ United Methodist Church at Louisville. The couple plan to reside in Louisville.
