Jarvis-Sobucki

Kara Jarvis, formerly of Terre Haute, and Andrew Sobucki, formerly of Crown Point, announce their engagement and approaching marriage.

The bride-elect is the daughter of Timothy and Susan Jarvis of Terre Haute. She studied exercise science at Indiana State University and works at Young at Heart Pharmacy in Indianapolis.

The prospective bridegroom is the son of John Sobucki and Darlene Seghi-Sobucki, both of Crown Point. He studied radio-TV-film at ISU and works as master control operator for Comcast/NBC Universal in Denver.

The invitation-only wedding is set for 5 p.m. Aug. 24, 2013, at Centenary United Methodist Church in Terre Haute. The couple will reside in Denver.

Maxwell-Dickerson

Ashley Nichole Maxwell and Howard William Dickerson announce their engagement and approaching marriage.

The wedding is set for Sept. 7, 2013. Friends and family are invited.

The bride-elect is the daughter of Sandy and James Maxwell. She graduated from Terre Haute South Vigo High School and is a manager at the antique Dairy Queen.

The prospective bridegroom is the son of Valerie Steele. He earned his GED and is employed at Future X.
