Cooper-Rogers

Doris Cooper and Patrick Rogers, both of West Terre Haute, announce their engagement and approaching wedding.

The invitation-only wedding is set for 1 p.m. on June 29 at Faithful Hearts Wedding Chapel.

The bride-elect is the daughter of Shannon DeBouse and Michael and Angie Cooper. She is a graduate of West Vigo High School in West Terre Haute.

The prospective bridegroom is the son of Sharon Rogers and Thomas and Gladys Rogers. He also is a graduate of West Vigo High School.

Dyer-Garrett

Joni Lynn Dyer and Daniel Patrick Garrett announce their upcoming wedding at 6:30 p.m. on July 6 at Heritage Baptist Church in Coal City.

A reception will follow the invitation-only wedding at First United Methodist Church in Clay City.

The bride-elect is the daughter of Barry and Patty Dyer of Clay City. She has a bachelor’s degree in social work from Indiana State University and works for the Department of Child Services in Sullivan.

The prospective bridegroom is the son of Richard and Sheryl Garrett of Terre Haute. He has a bachelor’s degree in history from ISU and works in the wallcoverings department at Menard’s.

Hernandez-Serrano

Maricela Hernandez and Daniel Ray Serrano of Victorville, Calif., announce their engagement to be married.

The wedding and reception are set for Aug. 10 at Spring Valley Lake Country Club.

Daniel is the son of former Terre Haute resident Nancy Serrano and Ishmael Serrano of Victorville; grandson of Phil and Linda Baysinger Lindley of Huntington Beach, Calif., formerly of Terre Haute; and great-grandson of the late Terre Haute residents Joe and Vera Mullikin.

Maricela is the daughter of Javier and Maria Hernandez of Victorville. She attended Cal State University and is an associate at Kevin’s Jewelry.

Daniel is pursuing a master’s degree at Cal State University. He is a camera man and editor in the sports department of Cal State Moving Pictures.
