Hughes-McCaffrey

Ellen and Jim Hughes announce the engagement of their daughter, Jaimie Erica Hughes, to Kevin Brian McCaffrey, son of Evelyn McCaffrey Pape and Brian McCaffrey.

The bride-elect graduated from Terre Haute North Vigo High School and earned her bachelor’s degree in telecommunications from Ball State University. She writes for Meetinghouse Productions in New York and a contributor to the monologue for “Late Show with David Letterman.”

The prospective bridegroom graduated from Hinsdale Central High School in Hinsdale, Ill., and earned his bachelor’s degree in telecommunications from Ball State University. He is a contributor to the monologue for “Late Show with David Letterman,” appears on truTV Presents: World’s Dumbest, and performs stand-up comedy in venues around the country.

The wedding is set for Sept. 21 in Indianapolis.

Grady-Lucas

Shawna J. Grady and Patrick W. Lucas, both of Terre Haute, announce their engagement and upcoming wedding.

The bride-elect is the daughter of Loretta Neal and Mark and Angela Neal, all of Terre Haute. She owns Hoosier Nanny Daycare.

The prospective bridegroom is the son of Betty Davilla and Ed Lucas, both of Terre Haute. He owns Lucas Construction.

The invitation-only wedding is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. July 6 at Faithful Hearts Wedding Chapel.

Gilman-White

Amanda Gilman and Zachary Joseph White, both of Terre Haute, announce their engagement and upcoming marriage.

The wedding is scheduled for 3 p.m. CDT July 20 at the American Legion in Marshall, Ill. Friends and family are invited.

The bride-elect is the daughter of Sharon D. Lowe and Richard L. Lowe, both of West Terre Haute. She is a therapist with a master’s degree, and a master’s degree in education from Indiana State University.

The prospective bridegroom is the son of Jean Cook and Steve White. He is a graduate of Ivy Tech Community College, and he works for G.E. Aviation.
