Wilson—Martin

Amber Renee Wilson and John Paul Martin, both of Universal, will be united in marriage at 4 p.m. Saturday, June 25, 2011, in State Line Christian Church at Paris, Ill.

The bride-elect is the daughter of Michelle and James Wallace of Chrisman, Ill., and Gary L. Wilson of New Goshen. She is a 2007 graduate of West Vigo High School in West Terre Haute and employed by Union Hospital in Terre Haute.

Martin is the son of Lisa Martin of New Goshen and Robert Martin Jr. of Universal. He is a 2000 graduate of South Vermillion High School in Clinton and employed at ST Construction in Terre Haute.

Burns—Thatcher

Mr. and Mrs. Randy Burns of Brazil and Mr. and Mrs. Mark Thatcher of Clay City announce the approaching marriage of their children, Chandra Nicole Burns and Garrett Mark Thatcher.

The couple will exchange wedding vows at 4:30 p.m. July 2, 2011, in Berea Christian Church at Brazil.

A reception will follow in the Exhibition Hall on the Clay County 4-H Fairgrounds in Brazil.

Friends and relatives are invited.

The bride-elect is a 2005 graduate of Northview High School in Brazil and received her bachelor’s degree from Indiana State University in 2008. She teaches math at Clay City Jr./Sr. High School. 

Thatcher is a 2007 graduate of Clay City High School and is pursuing a bachelor’s degree in health and physical education at   ISU.
