Pirtle-Thurston
Amanda E. Pirtle and James A. Thurston, both of Indianapolis, will be united in marriage at 2:30 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 16, 2008, in the Second Presbyterian Church at Indianapolis.
The bride-elect is the daughter of Judy and David Pirtle of Sullivan. She is a 1995 graduate of Sullivan High School, a 2000 graduate of Indiana University with a bachelor’s degree in speech and hearing sciences and psychology, and a 2002 graduate of Purdue University with a master’s degree in speech pathology. She is employed by Methodist Hospital as a speech pathologist.
Thurston is the son of Eleanor Thurston of Indianapolis and the late Max Thurston. He is a 1990 graduate of North Central High School in Indianapolis, and a 1994 graduate of Michigan State University with a bachelor’s degree in finance.
He is vice president of finance, international operations, with Simon Property Group Inc.
