Berlen-Devore
Donetta and Kevin Berlen of Clay City announce the approaching marriage of their daughter, Heather Anne Berlen, to Cody Edward Devore, son of Rita Devore of Effingham, Ill., and the late Doug Devore.
The couple will exchange vows at 5:30 p.m. Friday, July 4, 2008, in Heritage Baptist Church in Coal City. A reception will follow in Traditions at Brazil.
Friends and relatives are invited.
The bride-elect is a 2002 graduate of Clay City High School. She has attended Indiana State University and Ivy Tech Community College.
Devore is a 2003 graduate of St. Anthony’s High School in Effingham. He is studying computer network administration at Lakeland College at Mattoon, Ill., and is an intern at First Financial Corp. in Terre Haute.
Reed-Strohm
Ashley Dean Reed of Madison, Ind., and Fredric Robert Strohm of Terre Haute will be united in marriage at 5:30 p.m. EDT on Saturday, July 19, 2008, in the First United Methodist Church at Marshall, Ill.
Friends and relatives are invited. A reception will follow in Harlan Hall at Marshall, Ill.
The bride-elect is the daughter of Deanna Reed of Madison. She is a 2004 graduate of Madison Consolidated High School and a 2008 graduate of Indiana University with a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice and biology. She plans to attend Vincennes University in the fall to obtain her funeral services and mortuary science license.
Strohm is the son of Terry and Randy Strohm of West Union, Ill. He is a 1995 graduate of Hutsonville High School, a 1997 graduate of Lincoln Trail College and a 2001 graduate of Indiana State University with a bachelor’s degree in management information systems. He is employed by radio stations WTHI/WWVR in Terre Haute.
O’Brien-Freihaut
Courtney O’Brien of Terre Haute and Cory Freihaut of Dale, Ind., will be united in marriage at 5:30 p.m. Saturday, July 19, 2008, in the Terre Haute Bible Center. A reception will follow in Krietenstein American Legion Post 104.
The bride-elect is the daughter of Penny and Jerry O’Brien of Terre Haute. She is a 2003 graduate of Terre Haute North Vigo High School and a 2008 graduate of Indiana State University with a bachelor of science degree in human development and family studies.
Freihaut is the son of Sally Freihaut of Dale, Ind. He is a 2003 graduate of Heritage Hills High School and a 2008 graduate of Indiana State University with bachelor of science degrees in elementary and special education.
