Symphony seeks essay entries by Oct. 30

All students in Vigo County are invited to submit an essay on “What music brings to my life.” Winners will receive a ticket for themselves plus four family members or friends to the Nov. 2 Terre Haute Symphony Orchestra concert and dinner for five at the Supper at the Symphony.

The concert will feature Rob Waugh in the Hummel Trumpet Concerto and Brahms Symphony Number Four. A winner will be chosen at elementary, middle school and high school levels.  

All essays should be emailed to by 5 p.m. Wednesday. Contact information must be included. Winners will be notified by Nov. 1.
