Branson band to perform at Opry

Special to the Tribune-Star

TERRE HAUTE — Goldwing Express, based in Branson, Mo., will present a repeat performance at the Boot City Opry Saturday night.

Goldwing describes itself as “Three Indians and a Paleface” because of their Creek Indian heritage from their mother.

In addition to the group being accomplished musicians, the “paleface” dad is a standup comedian.

Dressed Native American style, the group produces a great musical program of bluegrass, country and more. Goldwing performs more than 250 show dates during one year.

Showtime is 7 p.m. Tickets are $15.
