Due to the recent flooding in Vigo County, Colts fans attending the Terre Haute Fan Fest at 5 pm. today in Fairbanks Park are urged to donate monetary and physical items to the United Way of the Wabash Valley to support their community outreach programs assisting flood victims.
Items needed by flood victims include: canned food, trash bags, travel size toiletries, tooth brushes/tooth paste, coolers, bar soap, diapers, adult diapers, paper towels, cleaning supplies, sponges, buckets, dehumidifiers, fans, bleach, etc.
Monetary donations also will be accepted. All of the proceeds from monetary donations, face painting, balloons, KBL & Company food vendors, and the Clabber Girl cookie trailer will go to organizations providing assistance to flood victims.
