Sycamores' turnover woes cost them at Creighton

OMAHA, NEB. — Indiana State fell to 12-10 overall, 7-4 in the Missouri Valley with an 83-69 loss at Creighton on Saturday.

Freshman Jake Odum had a career-high 22 points to go with four assists for the Sycamores. Dwayne Lathan chipped in 15 points off the bench, but he had five of ISU's 20 turnovers.

Creighton freshman Doug McDermott poured in a game-high 25 points for the Bluejays, who are now 15-9 overall and 7-5 in the MVC.
