MVC honors ISU men’s tennis members

— Four members of the Indiana State men’s tennis team were honored by the Missouri Valley Conference recently, being named to the MVC Honor Roll.
Sycamore seniors Anton Tsymbalov and Rishi Behl, junior Michael Wenham and sophomore Blake Douglas were honored by the Missouri Valley Conference. In addition, Wenham was named a recipient of the Commissioner’s Academic Excellence Award.
The same four also were recognized by the university for being named to the ISU Athletic Honor Roll. Wenham, a psychology major at ISU, has a cumulative GPA of 3.95 and was named to the All-Academic Team. He was a nominee for the Presidential Scholar-Athlete of the Year award as well.
Wenham and Tsymbalov were named to the 2008 Missouri Valley Conference Scholar-Athlete first team for the second straight year. Douglas was named to the honorable-mention team.

n Winners announced — At Indiana State University, the following names were reported as age-division winners from a youth tournament Tuesday:

Girls 14 and under — Rachel Wilson (Brazil).
Girls 10 and under — Kaeli Rodriguez (Terre Haute).
Boys 10 and under — R.J. Kuhn (Terre Haute).
