TERRE HAUTE — Michael S. Lueking has been named agricultural specialized lending area senior commercial lending executive of First Financial Bank. He works in the FFB banking center at 15 S. Main St. in Sullivan.

Lueking joined First Financial in 1994 and has served as a commercial and agricultural lending officer for more than 17 years.

He is a graduate of Sullivan High School and the Krannert School of Management at Purdue University, where he received his bachelor’s degree in management and finance in 1994.

Lueking is also a graduate of Indiana Bankers Association school programs and a Midwest Agricultural Banking School program at Purdue. His experience includes 10 years as a residential lending officer and  consumer-lending officer, and seven years as a senior credit officer. As a regional vice president for the bank, he supervised and trained lenders providing consumer, residential, agricultural and commercial lending services in six First banking centers in the region.

Eric Nicholas has been named eastern region senior commercial lending executive of First Financial Bank. Nicholas has 13 years of banking experience.

The bank’s eastern region includes Vermillion, Parke, Putnam and Clay counties.

Nicholas joined First in January 2011 as a vice president, commercial lending officer. He is a 1994 graduate of Rockville High School and a 1999 graduate of Indiana State University. He has earned a credit risk certification by the Risk Management Association. He lives in Rockville with his wife, Kim, and their three children.
