INDIANAPOLIS — The U.S. Small Business Administration is accepting loan applications from people, businesses and nonprofits that sustained damage from winter and summer storms in different regions of Indiana.
Applications for low-interest loans will be accepted until Aug. 30 for residents in Gibson, Knox, Pike, Posey, Vanderburgh and Warrick counties in southwestern Indiana after high winds and hail hit the area on July 31. The SBA will open a loan center in Oakland City on Tuesday. Applications also may be filed online.
The SBA also is accepting loan applications until Sept. 27 from Elkhart, LaPorte, St. Joseph and Steuben counties in northwestern Indiana. They were racked by snow, tornadoes and flooding in February.
