E. Brady Hansel, CPA, now administers personal trusts and agencies, estates and guardianships as an assistant trust officer of First Financial Bank.

Hansel joined First Financial in 2010, as an audit manager in the internal audit department. He works from the main office banking center, at 1 First Financial Plaza, in downtown Terre Haute.

With more than 13 years of accounting experience, Hansel’s prior experience includes nine years with Sherck, Hussey, Johnson & McNaughton LLC in Indianapolis. He also worked as operations and finance manager for the Hoosier Environmental Council and served as a staff auditor for KPMG LLP in Indianapolis.  

Hansel, a longtime member of the Indiana CPA Society, is a 2006 recipient of the INCPAS Outstanding Service Award. He is a former user group member of MIP Fund Accounting Software, which is used for financial management by some government and nonprofit organizations.  

A 1994 graduate of Terre Haute South Vigo High School, he received a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Indiana State University in 1998, and completed an internal auditor internship with First Financial Corp. while in college.

Sheri Trendelman has recently joined Associated Psychologists, a private counseling and psychotherapy practice, as a licensed clinical therapist. Trendelman earned both her bachelor’s and her master’s degrees from Indiana State University.

Trendelman has worked as a lead case manager in foster care and adoption services through collaboration with the Department of Children and Family Services. She has also worked with severely emotionally disordered children and their families in an outpatient setting, while at the same time providing school-based and home-based services.

She has practiced as a generalist in an outpatient setting for the last five years. In that capacity she treated clients with attention deficit, pervasive developmental, mood, anxiety, and personality disorders. Along with her work with clients, Trendelman has collaborated with various medical professionals and families in order to improve the lives and emotional wellbeing of her clients.

In her new role as a private practitioner, Trendelman will be specializing mainly in therapy with children and families using a variety of clinical tools such as cognitive-behavioral therapy, family systems therapy, and evidence-based play therapy.
