TERRE HAUTE —
Whitney O’Brien, CPA, has joined Larsson, Woodyard, & Henson LLP. She began serving clients in May and splits her time between the firm’s Paris, Ill., and Terre Haute offices.
O’Brien earned a bachelor’s degree in accounting, with minors in forensic accounting and economics, summa cum laude, from Indiana State University in 2010, where she was also a Networks Scholar. She was awarded the Indiana CPA Society’s Outstanding Accounting Major Award in 2010. She passed the uniform CPA examination in August 2011 and received the INCPAS CPA Exam High Grade Award in 2012.
Before joining the firm, O’Brien was an audit senior with Dauby O’Connor and Zaleski in Carmel. Her practice emphasis included financial statement audits of real estate entities.
At ISU, O’Brien was a member of the accounting honors society Beta Alpha Psi and the business society Alpha Kappa Psi, where she served in multiple roles, including vice-president of membership and Master of Rituals.
Larsson, Woodyard, & Henson LLP, with offices in Paris, Casey and Tuscola, Ill., as well as Terre Haute, is a Certified Public Accounting firm serving local, regional, national and international clients.
Andrew Molnar has joined Thompson Thrift Development as a development associate. He will work out of the Terre Haute office and assist with local projects and special assignments.
Before joining Thompson Thrift, he was a real estate development analyst with Oakland Portal in Pittsburgh from 2010-2011. He also was a trade specialist with the Bank of New York Mellon in Pittsburgh from 2009-2010.
He held internships with Mocon Inc. of Pittsburgh; Best Western University Inn of Boca Raton, Fla.; and Ram Real Estate of Charlotte, N.C.
Molnar received a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Elon University in 2009. He is a candidate for a master’s degree in real estate development from Clemson University.
He is a member of the Urban Land Institute and the International Council of Shopping Centers.
Willis Barnett has rejoined Thompson Thrift Construction as a field operations coordinator.
He most recently worked as a sales agent for R.W. Raddatz Inc. of Deerfield Beach, Fla., from 2012 to 2013. He previously was a project coordinator with Thompson Thrift from 2011 to 2012.
He received a bachelor’s degree in construction management from Indiana State University in 2011.
Bryan Hicks recently joined Thompson Thrift Construction as an assistant superintendent, a position to which he brings significant multifamily experience.
He most recently was a construction manager with Collegiate Construction, LLC, of Bogart, Ga., from 2012 to 2013. He also was a project manager, superintendent, contract administrator and project coordinator with Edwards Communities Construction Company, Columbus, Ohio, from 2007 to 2012, and a project superintendent and contract administrator/schedule administrator with Lifestyle Communities in Columbus, Ohio, from 2006 to 2007.
He received a bachelor’s degree in agriculture from The Ohio State University in 2004.
Anthony Marriott has joined the staff of Thompson Thrift Construction as a subcontractor manager. He brings 10 years of experience in small business ownership to the position.
Before joining Thompson Thrift, he was the president of R.A.S.K. Scapes in McCordsville from 2007-2013. He also was an account manager with Mainscape Inc. in Fishers from 2004 to 2007.
He received a bachelor’s degree in landscape architecture from Purdue University in 2006.
