A-Mark signs deal with Florida company

ROCKVILLE — A-Mark Pest & Bird Management, Inc. of Rockville has signed a licensing agreement with Pure Tower Inc. of Port Orange, Fla. This allows Pure Tower to use A-Mark’s patented technology for bird repellent systems exclusively for cell towers. The system has been used at eight test sites in Florida this year.

The system was developed by A-Mark for use in electrical substations, pipe arbors and towers where roosting birds are an issue.

Pete Markham, owner and president of A-Mark, has worked on developing products for pest-bird management for more than 35 years. He is recognized as one of the leading specialists in his field, lecturing at universities and seminars nationwide and holding 17 patents for bird management products.

A-Mark provides pest control in the Wabash Valley but specializes and works with bird issues nationwide.
