TERRE HAUTE — The Downtown Terre Haute Farmers’ Market has announced that Majel Wells has been named its new market master. Wells is a graduate of Indiana State University with a bachelor’s degree in marketing. She has been employed with Big Picture Printing, which is co-owned and operated by her husband Tim Wells.

The winter market is staged from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. the first Saturday of each month, November through May. The market is inside Clabber Girl at Ninth Street and Wabash Avenue.

Buckle, Inc. recently announced that Brenda Thompson has been named manager of its Buckle store in Honey Creek Mall in Terre Haute. Brenda began her career with the Buckle in 2011. She was an assistant manager at Honey Creek Mall Buckle store before being named manager. Brenda is a graduate of Ivy Tech Community College, with a degree in business administration.

The Buckle caters to fashion-conscious young men and women. Head-quartered in Kearney, Neb., the Buckle currently operates 441 retail stores in 43 states.
