TERRE HAUTE — Whether you’re a fan of its sandwiches, salads or soups, the Roly Poly at 424 Wabash Ave. has something for everyone — all rolled up in a fresh tortilla.

“Whatever your taste, we’ve got your number” is its motto.

The store will celebrate its 10-year anniversary the week of July 22.

To celebrate the event, store owner Frank Contreras will be giving away cookies and T-shirts, while they last.

With more than 34 hot and cold rolled sandwiches to choose from, Roly Poly is not the run of the mill sandwich shop.

With healthy ingredients that include avocado, sun dried tomatoes, baby spinach, mushrooms, dried fruits, nuts and even mango chutney, customers can be certain that Roly Poly is a sandwich lover’s paradise.

Menu highlights include the cold best seller, Basil Cashew Chicken (fresh basil chicken salad, green leaf lettuce, plum tomatoes, cashews, Spicy Thai Sauce, avocado and sprouts) and the Hot Pressed Key West Cuban Mix (turkey breast, Black Forest ham, smoked turkey breast, melted Swiss and American cheeses, lettuce, tomato and dill pickle slices) hot pressed and served with the sandwich shop’s signature spicy honey mustard.

“When I tasted my first Roly Poly I knew right away that I had found something unique” Contreras said.

“I was looking for a healthy fast casual concept that we would be proud to offer to our customers, friends and family,” Contreras said. “This store is set up to accommodate professionals that desire a great tasting and nutritious meal fast. It has been a pleasure serving this community.”

Contreras is expanding upon his success with another location at the UAP Clinic at 1429 N. Sixth St.

Store hours are 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Friday and 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday.
