The Rockville Correctional Facility was recognized as a Champion Award recipient at the Indiana State Employee Community Campaign awards ceremony in Indianapolis. A member organization achieves Champion Award status when 20 percent or more of its employees contribute at the Champion level, contributing a minimum of half an hour’s pay per pay period.
Seventy-six RCF employees teamed up with 5,636 other state employees to participate in this year’s campaign, pledging more than $1,255,300 to benefit 1,588 charities in Indiana. This is the largest pledge total to date.
The SECC is an annual charity campaign administered by state employees, allowing participants to contribute to any charity that has a 501(c)(3) ruling through either a one-time contribution or payroll deductions.
Over the past 34 years, state employees have contributed $24 million to the charities of their choice.
