TERRE HAUTE —
Watermark Residential, a wholly owned Thompson Thrift subsidiary, has been named to Multifamily Executive magazine’s 2013 Top 50 list of “Builders,” placing 45th.
Watermark’s ranking was based on its completion of 1,068 multifamily (apartment) units in 2012.
Each year, MFE selects the country’s Top 50 companies in the categories of general contractor, renovators, owners, managers and builders, the based on a nationwide survey.
“Watermark is a relatively young company, having been formed in 2008, so our inclusion on this list for the second time shows how remarkably far we have come in a short time,” said Paul Thrift, president of Thompson Thrift Development.
“I’m proud of everyone within Watermark who has worked so hard to get the company to this point,” he added. “It’s a pleasure to share in this achievement with them.”
Watermark was listed as a “newcomer” on MFE’s Top 50 Builders list last year.
