TERRE HAUTE —
The Vermillion County Economic Development Council has begun a county-wide effort focused on community economic development.
The council seeks to increase collaboration among individual community projects and focus on the future by identifying challenges and opportunities and finding resources to address them.
A series of community meetings, facilitated by a member of Ball State University’s Building Better Communities, will be held to encourage resident input regarding future economic development planning in Vermillion County.
The public meetings are scheduled for:
• Cayuga: 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. on April 15 at the Cayuga Community Center.
• Newport: 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. on April 16 at the Vermillion County Court House Auditorium.
• Dana: 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. on April 17 at the Dana Firehouse.
• Clinton: 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. on April 18 at the Clinton City Council Chambers.
