Wireless Mike’s to host grand opening week

TERRE HAUTE — Wireless Mike’s will host a grand opening celebration at its new location in Marshall, Ill., beginning Friday

The week’s events will kick off at 5 p.m. Friday, with the Marshall Chamber of Commerce performing a ribbon cutting, and continue with special offers through July 26.

“We are excited to celebrate with the Marshall community our expansion into the eastern area of the state,” said owner and CEO Mike Gerkin. “We are proud of the variety of services we offer our customers, and this grand opening will allow the public to come in and really get to know us.”

Activities at the celebration will include a sandwich lunch on Saturday, drawings and refreshments throughout the week, discounts on accessories, and an activation/upgrade discount of $20 on a featured device of the day.

The new store, at 1304 N. Michigan Ave., is one of five locations Wireless Mike’s has recently added, expanding its service area throughout Central and Eastern Illinois to include 13 locations. Other newly added stores include locations in Sullivan, Paris, Tuscola and Olney.
