Cayuga kicks off Red Kettle Campaign

CAYUGA — Cayuga has kicked off its Red Kettle Campaign; volunteers and can be found at the Cayuga Red and White grocery store each weekend through the end of December. All donations stay in Vermillion County and assist those in need in a variety of ways, such as utility assistance, providing food and Christmas gifts.

Volunteers are needed to supervise the kettle; anyone interested may call Bob Mark at 765-492-3747 or 217-474-3747 or email honda95@sbcglobal.net. Volunteers may supervise the kettle in one or two hour increments. Groups, businesses and individuals are encouraged to participate.

The Salvation Army Red Kettle Campaign has been in existence since 1891, and today the campaign assists more than 4.5 million people in the United States.
