ON THE MOVE: Aug. 18, 2013

James Christopher Olds of First Financial Bank has been promoted to assistant vice president, eastern regional manager.

The four-county eastern region includes 10 First Financial banking centers. In Sullivan County, banking centers are in Dugger, Farmersburg, Hymera and Sullivan. In Clay County, three banking centers are in Brazil, and one is in Clay City. The eastern region also includes banking centers in Greencastle in Putnam County and Worthington in Greene County.

Olds, who works from First Financial’s Sycamore Terrace Banking Center at 2425 S. Indiana 46, has seven years of experience in the financial services industry. He joined First Financial in 2006 as manager of the Washington Banking Center.

He is a graduate of Barr-Reeve High School, Montgomery, and the University of Southern Indiana, Evansville, where he received a bachelor’s degree in marketing in 2006. Olds completed a Governor’s Summer Internship with the Indiana Department of Environmental Management during his college career.

He is a 10-year member of the Sons of American Legion, Newburgh, Post 44, and a long-time volunteer for the Turkey Trot Festival, an annual event sponsored by the Montgomery Ruritan Club, Daviess County.

Olds and his family moved from Jasper to Terre Haute in March.
