TERRE HAUTE — The Maple Center for Integrative Health announces the addition of licensed massage therapist Nancy Humphries to the clinical staff. She received her training from the Body Therapy Institute in Siler City, N.C.

Humphries uses a combination of Swedish, myofascial, pressure points, stretching, reflexology and energy work to facilitate relaxation, restoration and balance. She is a current member of the Associated Bodywork and Massage Professional, an organization that upholds high standards of work and ethics. Nancy is Reiki Level ll, has reflexology training and is prenatal certified.

The Maple Center, Inc is a nonprofit organization with the mission of providing integrative health education and clinical services, which combine the best of modern medicine and complementary care.

Superintendent Stanley Knight has announced the recent promotion of Michael Rains of Brazil to the position of assistant superintendent of re-entry at the Putnamville Correctional Facility.

Rains, a graduate of Indiana State University, began his career with the Indiana Department of Correction in 2007 at Putnamville. Since then, he has held various positions, advancing from correctional officer to case worker, case manager and unit team manager.

Jill Francis is Distributors Terminal Corp.’s new customer service manager. She has more than 30 years of organizational, technical and time management experience in customer service, warehousing and transportation.

Her primary focus at DTC will be improving the customer experience through increased interaction and greater efficiency. She will be involved with making process improvements, standardizing procedures and supporting inventory control. Her responsibilities will also include dispatching traffic for customer pickup and delivery, directing supplier traffic and providing workflow support.

Francis has held management positions with Columbia House and Clabber Girl Corp., where she has supervised customer service employees, managed a call center, and been responsible for warehousing, transportation, inventory control and budgeting.

A Terre Haute native, she graduated from North Vigo High School. She and her husband Scott have two children and four grandchildren.
