Harrison College to celebrate anniversary with career fair


TERRE HAUTE — Harrison College will celebrate its 110th anniversary by hosting “The Harrison College Connection,” an open house, career fair and networking event, from 10 a.m. to noon and 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at its Terre Haute campus. The event is open to the public and admission is free. The campus is at 1378 S. Indiana 46 in Terre Haute.

Job seekers will have the opportunity to meet with several area businesses. Representatives from the criminal justice, health sciences and business sectors are expected to attend. Terre Haute Mayor Duke Bennett will visit the campus at 10 a.m. for a recognition ceremony.

Harrison College, formerly known as Indiana Business College, opened its doors in Marion in 1902, and the college has operated in Terre Haute since 1968. Harrison College currently offers bachelor’s degrees, associate’s degrees, certificates and diplomas in more than 40 programs across five schools of study (business, criminal justice, health sciences, information technology and veterinary technology).
