Dr. Shilpa Guggali has joined the UAP Clinic health care team in the Psychiatry Department.
Guggali earned her medical degree from Sree Siddhartha Medical College in Tumkur, India. She completed her residency training and a Sleep Medicine Fellowship at the Medical College of Wisconsin in Milwaukee. She is board eligible with the American Board of Psychiatry and Sleep Medicine. Her clinical interests include adult psychiatry and adult and pediatric sleep medicine.

Stephanie Arnold has joined the UAP Clinic health care team as a family nurse practitioner in its Endocrinology Department.
Arnold attended Indiana State University and earned a bachelor’s degree in nursing and a master’s degree in nursing and family nurse practitioner. She enjoys intensive diabetic management of patients and has worked actively with diabetics for the past few years to manage their disease process to minimize the complications of diabetes, and to ensure her patients live healthy and active lives. Arnold has special interests in insulin pump management, continuous glucose monitoring sensors, and artificial pancreas technology. Stephanie is Board Certified. Her collaborating physician is UAP Clinic Endocrinologist Edward Rico, MD, MBA.

Chuck Stafford has joined the Independent Branch Services of Charles Schwab & Co. Inc. at 4830 S. U.S. 41 as a financial consultant.
The Terre Haute location is part of a larger franchising initiative Schwab announced in early 2011. Schwab’s decision to begin opening franchise branches is grounded in a commitment to make financial advice and guidance more accessible in local communities across the county. Stafford was formerly with First Financial Bank’s First Investment Services and has more than 30 years of banking and financial services experience in the Wabash Valley. He is a FINRA registered financial consultant and a licensed insurance agent. He attended Indiana State University and the Graduate School of Banking at the University of Wisconsin in Madison.
Stafford will provide financial services, access to estate planning strategies, retirement planning and counseling, and provide investment guidance to clients at the Terre Haute office.
Stafford was a member of the Illinois State Treasurer’s Public Funds Investor Task Force, and has authored policies on investing, asset/liability management and compliance.
Steve Flick has joined the Thompson Thrift Construction team in Terre Haute as a project executive.
Flick has more than 23 years of experience in multifamily and student housing construction. During that time, he played a role in the successful construction of more than 5,000 apartment and student housing units and the preconstruction of an additional 2,000 units.
He most recently was the head of construction for MBA Construction in Indianapolis, a position he held from 2000-2013. Prior to that he was a project manager-construction superintendent with Signature Construction in Carmel from 1990-2000. He is a member of the Plainfield Christian Church and the Plainfield Quarterback Club.

Dr. Brian Ross of Ross Optometry announces his practice at 643 Ohio St. has joined Ossip Optometry of Indianapolis to become Ossip-Ross Optometry.
Ross, O.D., is a graduate of the St. Louis College of Optometry. He is a member of the American Optometric Association, Indiana Optometric Association, Heart of America Contact Lens Society, the Terre Haute Rotary Club, Terre Haute Chamber of Commerce, Terre Haute Downtown Association and the Terre Haute North Little League president. In 2009, Ross was named the Indiana Optometric Association Young Optometrist of the Year receiving the President’s Citation. Ross is originally from Marshall, Ill. He moved to Terre Haute in 2003, where he began practicing optometry.
The original Ossip Optometry was founded in 1952 by Dr. Kenneth Ossip. His son, Dr. Gregg Ossip, a 1979 graduate of IU School of Optometry, has grown that practice to become a collection of private practices throughout Indiana and Illinois.
The Vigo County Health Department welcomes Christina Keller as a health educator and media coordinator.
A native of California, Keller brings to the department a background in kinesiology, health and wellness, and a passion for disease prevention and education.
A recent graduate of California State University Monterey Bay, Keller was a four-year collegiate water polo player for the Otters. Though new to the state and area, she is “incredibly excited for the opportunity to meet and grow with the Vigo County community.”

Staff Sgt. Aaron Reedy was recently assigned to the Air Force recruiting office in Terre Haute at 300 Ohio St. Reedy will support the Air Force Recruiting Service in Vigo, Putnam, Montgomery, Fountain, Vermillion and Clay counties, as well as several counties in Illinois and their surrounding communities.
Reedy is a recent graduate of the Air Force Recruiting School in San Antonio, where he was trained in areas including the job classification system, testing and enlistment processing procedures, and public speaking.
He was selected for the special course and recruiting duty as a volunteer with an “outstanding” Air Force record, according to Air Force officials.
Before his assignment here, Reedy was a pavements and equipment craftsman at Scott Air Force Base in Illinois.
