Fore Seasons Golf Complex was selected as the second-place winner in Golf Range Times’ 2007 Best New Range contest.
The Best New Range contest highlights excellence in facility design and development. The criteria for selecting winners are based on overall facility design and layout and take into account the range’s aesthetics, directional orientation, landing area and tee line, customer safety and convenience, weather/climate controls, creativity and functionality.
“Every year we continue to be impressed with the quality of golf range development taking place,” said James Turner, editor and publisher of Golf Range Times, the number-one publication for the golf driving range industry.
The Fore Seasons Golf Complex features an indoor black light mini-golf course, a game room with billiards, darts and an arcade, a putting green, a lighted executive golf course, Mulligan’s Pub & Restaurant, a high-definition indoor golf simulator and party rooms.
This new range opened in July, and has a double tee deck with 24 stations (12 top and 12 bottom). The golf complex is a total of 48 acres and was constructed by Thompson Thrift.
The facility will be profiled in the January/February 2008 issue of Golf Range Times, which is read by thousands of range owners, developers and key industry personnel.
