Company brings work-at-home customer service program to Vigo County

NEW Customer Service Companies Inc., the nation’s leading provider of extended service plans and buyer protection programs for consumer products, hit the ground running in Terre Haute with its Work-at-Home customer service program.

On July 17, the company announced that it would bring a unique opportunity to Vigo County with its work-at-home program.

Over the course of the next year, NEW is expected to bring 160 new jobs to the area to support one of its largest clients, DIRECTV.

The program launched in Terre Haute on Sept. 8 with the first class at Ivy Tech Community College-Wabash Valley. NEW employees in the Terre Haute area are beginning to reap the benefits of the work-at-home program.

“I’ve had a great experience training for my new job with NEW. I’m excited to start my work-at-home position and would suggest this job to anyone. Not only is the work rewarding, there are great incentives and the staff are friendly and genuinely good people,” said James Orndorff, NEW customer care representative.

NEW’s work-at-home program offers paid time off, comprehensive company-paid training, variety of work schedules, $9.50/hourly wage, free DIRECTV and tremendous opportunities for professional growth.

NEW is still actively seeking customer care representatives to join its team for upcoming training classes. To learn more about this opportunity, visit www.newhome

Virtual job fairs are scheduled 11:30 a.m. Wednesday and at noon Nov. 17. Eligible candidates must have a computer and basic PC skills.
