SCORE workshop scheduled for today in Vigo Library
SCORE, the Service Corps of Retired Executives, will conduct a workshop 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. today for those considering starting their own business or small-business owners seeking business advice.
The workshop is in the Vigo Public Library at Seventh and Poplar streets.
It will cover such topics as characteristics of successful business people, forms of business organization, management and operations, marketing, financing options, writing a business plan, and how SCORE can help.
Handouts are included in the cost.
SCORE is the premiere business counseling and advice service in the United States and operates in cooperation with the U.S. Small Business Administration to provide entrepreneurs with the information to help them succeed and grow their businesses.
All counseling services of SCORE are free. A $25 donation is requested.
