TERRE HAUTE — Linda and Joe Mentillo of Dugger have claimed a big Hoosier Lottery prize.

The 67-year-old Linda bought a winning $5 Cash For Life scratch-off ticket on Saturday at the Pimento Sunoco gasoline station. She and husband, Joe, were at the business today for an official announcement.

The couple has opted to take a one-time, lump-sump payment of $1.5 million (pretax), rather than the weekly prize of $2,500 every seven days for the rest of Linda’s life.
