3. NATION PAUSES IN TRIBUTE TO 9/11 VICTIMS

On the 12th anniversary of the terror attacks, time stands still at the World Trade Center site, near the Pentagon and Shanksville, Pa., where Flight 93 mourners laid a wreath.
