---- — Brazil Band to kick off outdoor concert season
The Brazil Concert Band, under the direction of Matthew S. Huber, will present its opening performance of the 2013 season at 8 p.m. on Sunday at the Forest Park Band Shell, or Pavilion in case of rain.
Exhibit features interpretations of historic, natural aspects of the Wabash River
The Swope Art Museum exhibit “Watermark-the Wabash River” will feature artists’ interpretations of historic and natural aspects of Terre Haute’s landmark waterway, on display through Aug. 24 in the museum’s education gallery.
Banks of the Wabash Festival continues
The 2013 Banks of the Wabash Festival, scheduled today through June 1 in Fairbanks Park, celebrates 40 years along the banks of the Wabash River, 30 under the sponsorship of the Terre Haute Parks and Recreation Department.

We’re talkin’ rockin’ at the Boot City Opry on Saturday evening. Rockin’ Terry Lee, originally from London, England, will present his ’50s and ’60s rockabilly music show.
Crosley Radio Players plan June 2 show
The Crosley Radio Players return Sunday to the new dinner theater at the Tuscany Restaurant in Paris, Ill. The restaurant will be offering a complete buffet dinner with drink and dessert, plus the Crosley Radio Players’ 75-minute show, for $17.
Academy of Dance Spring Concert is Friday
The Academy of Dance of Terre Haute will stage its annual Spring Concert at 6:30 p.m. May 31 and June 1 in Indiana State University’s Tilson Auditorium.
