BLOOMFIELD — A week after Katelyn Wolfe went missing in Linton, the men accused of killing her appeared in court.

Jordan W. Buskirk, 26, and Randal E. Crosley, 25, both of Jasonville, were in Greene Superior Court in Bloomfield this morning. Each faces charges of murder and criminal confinement in the death of Wolfe, 19. Her body was recovered Monday from a rural Sullivan County lake.

No trial date has been set, but a pretrial hearing is scheduled for Aug. 5. Crosley and Buskirk both were appointed public defenders. They are being held withbout bond in the Greene County Jail.

Prosecutor Jarrod D. Holtsclaw declined comment after the hearing when asked if the state will seek the death penalty in the case.
