National music acts scheduled for Brazil’s Alabama Street Festival
The 2014 Alabama Street Festival in Brazil will return June 28 with some hot acts for its 12th annual event.

Health campus residents celebrate summer with a Back Home BBQ
The outdoor tables at Cobblestone Crossings Health Campus will be set for a “Back Home BBQ” dinner Friday, June 20. This will mark the second of the campus’ 2014 quarterly themed dinner events which are planned specially for the campus residents to enjoy, along with a week full of themed activities leading up to the dinner.

Indiana Plein Air Painters Association Paint Out is June 14 in Waveland
The Indiana Plein Air Painters Association will stage a “Paint Out” in Waveland on Saturday.
The T.C. Steele Boyhood Home, 110 S. Cross St., Waveland, will serve as the event’s headquarters. Hoosier artists will meet in Waveland, fan out in and around town and the nearby state parks, paint local scenes and later in the day reconvene at the Steele Home to display their work.
