Un-valentine party for teens Friday at library

News Release

TERRE HAUTE — Teens tired of pink hearts and sweet cards are invited to celebrate everything un-valentine in the Vigo County Public Library at Seventh and Poplar streets.

From 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Friday, sixth through 12th-graders can create duct tape roses, un-valentine cards for their friends, and deface candy hearts for a heart catapult launching contest.

Doors open at 6:15; parents should arrive promptly at 8:30 for pick-up. Registration is required.

Call the Young People’s Department at 812-232-1115 for information and to register.

The event is sponsored by the Friends of the Vigo County Public Library.
