Illinois school event to benefit tiger

---- — Hutsonville High School is hosting the sixth annual Max Benefit from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. CST on Feb. 15 in the Illinois school’s Commons. The benefit will be followed by a basketball game. Fazoli’s is catering spaghetti with meat sauce, breadstick, cookie and drink for $6.50 each.

Weather permitting, either Sampson, an orange tiger, or Storm, a white tiger formerly owned by boxer Mike Tyson, will be at the benefit.

Proceeds will go to Max, a tiger who resides at The Exotic Feline Rescue Center in Center Point, Ind.

To purchase tickets for the benefit, contact art teacher Angela Compton at Hutsonville High School, 618-563-4913, or any Art Club or Student Council member.

Obtaining advanced tickets is advised as a limited number will be available at the door. Past events have sold out.
