Rockville native to perform at Winter Wine & Beer Festival

COLUMBUS, Ind. — Wine and micro beer sampling, a silent auction and a performance by Rockville native Cari Ray will be among attractions awaiting guests at DSI’s D’Vine Winter Wine and Beer Festival.

DSI is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to helping children and adults with mental, physical and emotional challenges reach their greatest levels of independence at home, work and in the community.

DSI’s fifth annual event is set for Feb. 23 in the Commons at 300 Washington St., in Columbus, Ind. Doors will be open from 1 to 7 p.m.

“We’re very excited about the diversity we’ve got this year,” said Tom Harpring, DSI director of communications. “We’ll have more than a dozen wineries and some fine micro brewers for guests to sample all they want for the price of admission.”

Tickets for the D’Vine Winter Wine and Beer Festival are $20 per person if purchased in advance and $25 at the door. Advanced ticket purchases can be made online at or at DSI, 2920 10th St., Columbus.

Ticket-holders are entitled to wine and beer tasting, commemorative wine or beer glass, and live entertainment.

Participants can also purchase art, jewelry and fine food items. A silent auction featuring event tickets, fine art and pottery also will be available for ticket-holders.

All proceeds from the festival will go to benefit individuals with disabilities served by DSI.
