Sullivan gallery offers classes for kids, adults

The Sullivan Area Art Guild Gallery will host art classes for children and adults throughout July at the gallery, 16 S. Court St.

• “Van Gogh’s Sunflowers,” $5, for ages 6 to 9 will be from 10 to 11 a.m. on Monday, taught by Sharon (Hayward) Hawk.

• “Picasso Portraits,” $5, for ages 6 to 9 will be from 10 to 11 a.m. on July 22, taught by Hawk. A session for ages 10 to 15 will be from 1 to 3 p.m. for $10.

• Architectural drawing, $10, for ages 10 to 15, will be from 1 to 3 p.m. on Monday.

• Adult still life and pencil drawing beginner classes, $15, will be from 9:30 to 11 a.m. on July 20, taught by Hawk.

• Basic watercolor painting, $40, will be from 7 to 9 p.m. on July 22 and 23, taught by Donna Risinger.

• Acrylic painting for beginners, $30, will be from 1 to 4 p.m on July 24, taught by Kathy Matlock.

Gallery hours are 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
